In 2014, we were delighted to announce the formation of The Hattie Jane Broady Memorial Scholarship Program. This program was established as a way to encourage high achieving, yet financially underprivileged, students in their effort to “Raise the Standard” for themselves and those they inspire. The program has done so well over the years that in 2021 it was expanded to include awards for adults doing select types of continuing education like obtaining their High School equivalency diploma, getting their drivers license for the “FIRST” time and more. We now refer to it as “The Hattie Jane Broady Scholarship and Continuing Education Program”.
The program is named after one of Galilee’s departed members and dynamic preacher of the gospel:
